The Christian Essenian Church is an interfaith church. Our goal is to promote the unity of religions. Our faith is based on spiritual grounds.
We believe that there have been communities (e.g. Cathars and Celts) that preserved the original Christian culture in its purest form in every epoch of mankind .
Although many dogmas and customary ceremonial customs have a rational explanation, our endeavor is not to empirically prove the existence of God.
The integral essence of our faith is the free living of faith without practicing dogmatic rituals. The integral ceremony of our spiritual community is the Service, which we also call the Community of Love.
The aims of the Christian Essenian Church is:
- conveying the essence of the former and original Christian religion
- celebration of Divine Services in their original form, in which they were celebrated by the early Christians
- promoting the awareness of people as one mankind family
- promoting mutual tolerance, respect and acceptance of religions
- respect for all forms of Divine beings
- respect for the individual personal, spiritual, psychological and physical freedom
- the path to all-embracing love and trust in God
- development of individual personality and development of both spiritual and religious consciousness
The Christian Essenian Church is one of the younger churches in terms of its contemporary origins. However, thanks to an unbroken and continued apostolic lineage, our roots reach back to the Highest priests of Israel.
The legitimacy of the priests and bishops of the Christian Essenian Church is guaranteed by the consecration – including the ordination of our priests and bishops by Roman-Catholic representatives in the past.
